WARRANTY T&CS

Ngenco Limited Warranty Framework
Trade Manufacturer’s Warranty & Installer Application Warranty Requirements
Effective Date: 19th August 2026

Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty
Five (5) years. Offered by Ngenco Limited only to Authorised Ngenco Distributors and Authorised Ngenco Installers for verified manufacturing defects in Ngenco product.

Installer Application Warranty
Two (2) or three (3) years, selected by the Authorised Ngenco Installer. Must be offered by the installer to its customer and covers preparation, application and workmanship for which the installer is responsible.
Important: The Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty is a trade warranty and is not a direct warranty to the vehicle owner or end customer. An Authorised Ngenco Installer must provide its customer with a separate Application Warranty for the installation work.

1. Scope and Definitions
This document separates responsibility for the manufacture of Ngenco coating product from responsibility for preparation, application and installation workmanship. It applies to genuine Ngenco product supplied through authorised Ngenco trade channels and applied by an Authorised Ngenco Installer.
For the purposes of this document:

‘Ngenco’ means Ngenco Limited.

‘Authorised Ngenco Distributor’ means a business formally authorised by Ngenco to distribute Ngenco product within an agreed market or territory.

‘Authorised Ngenco Installer’ means a business authorised by Ngenco to apply Ngenco product professionally in accordance with Ngenco’s current technical and application requirements.

‘Eligible Trade Partner’ means an Authorised Ngenco Distributor or Authorised Ngenco Installer entitled to submit a Manufacturer’s Warranty claim under this document.

‘End Customer’ means the vehicle owner or other customer receiving the completed Ngenco installation from an Authorised Ngenco Installer.

‘Application Warranty’ means the separate warranty provided by the Authorised Ngenco Installer to its End Customer for preparation, application and workmanship.

2. Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty
2.1 Eligible recipients and duration
Ngenco provides this Manufacturer’s Warranty exclusively to Eligible Trade Partners. It is not issued directly to an End Customer and does not make Ngenco the warrantor of the installer’s application workmanship.
Subject to the terms of this document, Ngenco warrants the Ngenco coating product against verified manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years from the date on which the relevant product is applied to the vehicle by an Authorised Ngenco Installer.

A manufacturing defect means a defect arising solely from the production of the Ngenco product before application and which is independent of the preparation, mixing, application, curing, finishing, maintenance or subsequent use of the coating.
The visible appearance of an issue on a vehicle does not, by itself, establish that the product has a manufacturing defect. Similar symptoms may have manufacturing, application, environmental, maintenance or external causes. A manufacturing defect must therefore be investigated and confirmed in accordance with Section 4.

2.2 Manufacturer responsibility
Where Ngenco confirms that a claim is caused by a manufacturing defect, Ngenco’s obligation under this Manufacturer’s Warranty is limited, at Ngenco’s discretion and subject to applicable law, to the repair or replacement of the defective coating product supplied.
The Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover installer labour, preparation costs, application costs, removal or reapplication labour, vehicle hire, loss of use, consequential losses or other incidental costs arising from an installation, except to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
When correctly applied by an Authorised Ngenco Installer and used under normal environmental conditions, Ngenco product will help protect the vehicle’s paintwork from UV damage during the warranty period.

3. Batch Identification and Manufacturer Investigation
Ngenco operates batch traceability for warranty investigation. Each container of Ngenco product carries a batch number identifying the production batch from which the product was supplied.
The Authorised Ngenco Installer must record the batch number of the product used for each installation and retain that information within the installation or warranty record. Where more than one batch is used on a vehicle, each relevant batch number must be recorded.
Ngenco’s Research & Development Department retains identifiable wet and dry reference samples from production batches for quality-control and warranty-investigation purposes.
Where an Eligible Trade Partner reports a suspected manufacturing defect, Ngenco may test and examine the retained wet and/or dry reference samples corresponding to the batch number of the product used on the vehicle. Ngenco may also request photographs, installation records, application data, maintenance information, an inspection of the vehicle, or a sample of the affected coating where reasonably required to establish the cause of the reported issue.
Ngenco will determine whether a manufacturing defect is present by considering the relevant batch testing together with the available evidence from the installation and vehicle. A Manufacturer’s Warranty claim will only be accepted where Ngenco’s investigation confirms that the issue is attributable to the manufacture of the product and is independent of application, workmanship, maintenance or external causes.
If the evidence indicates that the issue results from preparation, mixing, application, curing, finishing or other installer workmanship, the matter falls under the Installer Application Warranty rather than the Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty.

4. Manufacturer Warranty Claims Process
1. The End Customer should first report any issue to the Authorised Ngenco Installer that carried out the application.
2. The installer should inspect the vehicle and obtain the installation record, relevant batch number(s), photographs and any other information reasonably necessary to identify the likely cause.
3. If the issue is confirmed or reasonably believed to arise from preparation, application or workmanship, the installer must manage the matter under its own Application Warranty.

4. If a manufacturing defect is reasonably suspected, the installer must submit the claim through its supplying Authorised Ngenco Distributor where applicable, or directly to Ngenco where the product was supplied directly by Ngenco.
5. The Eligible Trade Partner must provide the relevant batch number(s), installation date, vehicle details, photographs, installation and maintenance information, and any other evidence reasonably requested by Ngenco.
6. Ngenco will investigate the claim in accordance with Section 3 and will notify the Eligible Trade Partner of the outcome.
7. No admission of a manufacturing defect should be made to an End Customer before Ngenco has completed its investigation and confirmed the claim in writing.

5. Matters Outside the Manufacturer Warranty
The following are not manufacturing defects and are outside the Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty where they cause or contribute to the reported defect, damage, failure or deterioration:
Improper surface preparation
Incorrect, unauthorised or defective application
Incorrect mixing, incorrect mix ratios, or use of non-approved thinners, reducers, additives or products
Incorrect curing, baking, processing or finishing
Application workmanship or installation error
External impact or physical damage
Chemical exposure
Environmental conditions outside Ngenco’s specified usage guidelines
Damage caused by high-pressure jet washing
Neglect or failure to maintain the product appropriately
Modifications or unauthorised repairs
Natural disasters or severe weather
Severe road debris impact beyond normal wear and tear
Collisions, accidents or vandalism
Use in motorsports, track days or off-road conditions
Applications carried out by individuals or businesses that are not authorised by Ngenco are outside the Manufacturer’s Warranty. Ngenco products are intended for professional use only.

6. Authorised Installer Application Warranty
6.1 Mandatory installer warranty
Every Authorised Ngenco Installer must provide its End Customer with a separate written Application Warranty covering the installer’s preparation, application and workmanship. The Application Warranty is provided by the installer, not by Ngenco Limited.
The installer may choose an Application Warranty period of either two (2) years or three (3) years from the date the installation is completed. The selected period must be clearly stated on the customer’s invoice, warranty certificate or other written installation record at the time the vehicle is returned to the customer.
An installer must not describe its Application Warranty as the Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty, and must not represent that Ngenco accepts responsibility for application or workmanship.

6.2 Minimum scope of the Application Warranty
At a minimum, the Installer Application Warranty must cover defects in the completed installation caused by matters within the installer’s control, including:
Unit 4, West Court, Buntsford Park Road, Bromsgrove, B60 3DX, United Kingdom.

Improper or inadequate surface inspection and preparation
Incorrect mixing or mix ratios used by the installer
Use by the installer of unauthorised thinners, reducers, additives or other products
Incorrect spray application, film build or application technique
Incorrect curing, baking or processing carried out by the installer
Defective finishing or other application workmanship
Where an application or workmanship defect is confirmed within the installer-selected warranty period, the Authorised Ngenco Installer is responsible for providing the remedy promised under its Application Warranty. The installer is responsible for its own labour, rectification and reapplication obligations arising from its workmanship and may not transfer those costs to Ngenco as a Manufacturer’s Warranty claim unless Ngenco separately confirms a manufacturing defect.
The installer may include reasonable terms, maintenance requirements and exclusions in its Application Warranty, provided these do not misrepresent the Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty or remove any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

6.3 End Customer claims
An End Customer’s first point of contact for any issue with a completed Ngenco installation is the Authorised Ngenco Installer that carried out the work. The installer must assess whether the issue is an application/workmanship matter, an external or maintenance-related matter, or a potential manufacturing defect requiring referral through the Ngenco trade warranty process.
The Installer Application Warranty is separate from, and does not replace, any statutory rights the End Customer may have against the installer under applicable law.

7. Installation Records, Maintenance and Inspection
Authorised Ngenco Installers must maintain sufficient records to identify the product used on each vehicle. Records should include the installation date, vehicle identification, installer details, relevant product batch number(s) and the duration of the installer-selected Application Warranty.
For optimal product performance, Ngenco recommends that the coating is visually inspected every twelve (12) months by an Authorised Ngenco Installer and that inspection records are retained. Failure to complete a recommended annual inspection does not, by itself, invalidate the Manufacturer’s Warranty, but maintenance or external damage may affect whether a particular claim is covered.
Where Ngenco provides an installation or warranty registration facility, installers and customers are encouraged to register the installation and retain supporting invoices and warranty records to assist with future claims.

8. Distributor Responsibilities
An Authorised Ngenco Distributor supplying product to Authorised Ngenco Installers should maintain appropriate sales and batch traceability records and support the collection of claim information where a manufacturing defect is suspected.
Where an installer purchases Ngenco product through an Authorised Ngenco Distributor, the distributor will normally act as the first trade contact between the installer and Ngenco for a Manufacturer’s Warranty claim. The distributor does not assume responsibility for the installer’s application workmanship solely by supplying the product.
Distributors must ensure that product is supplied only in accordance with their Ngenco agreement and should not present the Manufacturer’s Warranty as a direct consumer warranty.

9. Transfer and Continuity
The Ngenco Manufacturer’s Warranty is a trade warranty and is not transferable to an End Customer as a direct contractual warranty from Ngenco. During the five-year Manufacturer’s Warranty period, a potential manufacturing defect affecting a recorded installation may still be referred to Ngenco by an Eligible Trade Partner, subject to the terms of this document and the availability of the required batch and installation records.
Any transfer of an Installer Application Warranty following sale or transfer of the vehicle is determined by the terms issued by the Authorised Ngenco Installer and by applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ngenco Limited’s liability under this Manufacturer’s Warranty is limited to the remedy stated in Section 2.2. No distributor, installer, agent or other representative is authorised to alter, extend or vary Ngenco’s Manufacturer’s Warranty unless the change is made in writing and signed by an authorised executive officer of Ngenco Limited.
Nothing in this document excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. International and Local-Law Compliance
This document defines the contractual distinction between Ngenco’s trade Manufacturer’s Warranty and the separate Application Warranty required from an Authorised Ngenco Installer. Where Ngenco products are supplied or installed outside the United Kingdom, the relevant distributor and installer are responsible for ensuring that customer-facing warranty documentation and sales practices comply with mandatory local law. Nothing in this document is intended to remove or limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded in the relevant jurisdiction.

12. Final Provisions
Ngenco reserves the right to amend the terms of its warranty programme for future supplies or applications. Any amendment will not retrospectively reduce rights already granted under an earlier warranty version unless permitted by law and expressly agreed.
This version supersedes the Ngenco Limited Warranty document dated 1st July 2026 for product supplied and installations completed on or after the effective date stated above, unless Ngenco confirms otherwise in writing.
